Alison Masson has always been interested in Health and Fitness. She has been actively working out since 1995 in a variety of capacities. In addition to training at the gym, Alison is an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys hiking, biking, kayaking, swimming, soccer, softball, and volleyball.
In 2000 Alison decided to begin a plant-based diet. Twenty-One years later she maintains a healthy plant-based diet consisting mainly of organic food, whole grains, proteins, fruits and vegetables, with minimal dairy.
With the closure of public gyms, Alison has taken her personal fitness to the next level by creating a home gym, complete with a full set of weights, resistance bands, and a pull-up bar. Alison has continued to work out at home and maintain a healthy lifestyle. She can honestly say she feels like she is in the best shape of her life.
The closures also inspired Alison to pursue a career in Personal Training and Nutrition. She began her Dual Certification with International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA) in October of 2020 and it took her just under six months to complete the following Certifications:
Alison understands the importance of a well-balanced healthy lifestyle that includes not only diet and exercise, but also an appropriate amount of sleep and water, while remaining active and keeping stress levels low.
Alison enjoys helping and inspiring others by sharing her positivity and results. She hopes to be able to use her new certification to do just that.
